WELCOME TO GNS FARM

GNS Farm is a small family farm in Central Michigan ( south of Mt Pleasant, North of Lansing.)

we raise Kiko and Kiko cross goats. Along with making Goats milk soaps and Lotions.

This is one of our summertime pastures we enjoy watching goats roam and graze from the front porch or kitchen window.

Nibbles

This a yearling doe we will be adding to our herd 2024 breeding plan.

Helsie

This is a Helsington Sting Bred Buck that we used on a couple of younger does in 2023 and have been pleased with his offspring so far. We will be breeding a select few again in 2024.

You will see a couple of his kids for sale in 2024...keep watch

Cimerron

Cimerron is our Up and Coming Herd sire from Oklahoma and we are Excited to see what the outcome is in late 2024 early 2025.

His Dad and Granddad both are Buck Tested winners!

Whistle

Whistle is a NZ kiko Buck From Kentucky that has proven himself to be a color producer for us here @GNS farm. He has thrown triplets and added some height to some of our shorter stockier goats.

we look forward to a prosperous 2024/25 kid crop from him again.

2024 Commercial 75% kiko that is out of a first freshener doe that i think will make a nice herd buck adding with and muscle to some dairy herd.

Duke

Duke was our First "SKS" (Sannen, Kiko, Savanna) type kiko cross buck we raised. He sired many meat goats and we have several of his does retained to improve our milk lines for the soap business. His mother is a 80% saanen doe and his dad was a 75% savanna 25% kiko cross.

Although he outworked his spot here on GNS he is well remembered by the personality and mothering ability of the does we kept and the does that are now on other farms in MI!

His mother is still going strong and we will be retaining this years doeling out of Helsie.

Goat Meat

Burger

This burger is LEAN and excellent taco meat. We use it in Spaghetti, Meat loaf and Chili too.

stew meat

Stew meat is in approximate 1x1 inch squares. This is tender and makes excellent stews and soups when SLOW cooked properly.

Roasts

Usually 3-5# and special requests are taken for these.

We slow cook our roasts with any seasoning and they are always fall apart good.

some of our first butcher goats were smaller and I did not order BIG roasts.
